Historic District?

Downtown Delta is being considered for a Historic District…there are great benefits for building owners.

The DDP Historic Preservation Committee is working closely with History Colorado. The Preservation Committee’s application for a Downtown Delta Historic District has been approved to move onto the NPS for review and approval for the National Register of Historic Places.

Newly formed DDP Historic Preservation Committee…responsible for submitting a survey to History Colorado for consideration for designation of a Downtown Delta Historic District. Committee Chair, Wilma Erven, committee members, Judy Weiszbrod, Ron Hays, James Wetzel, Hartland Clubb, Dr. Tom Gore and Elizabeth Thompson.
The group was notified at the DDP Annual Membership Meeting that History Colorado approved Delta’s application to move forward to the NPS in consideration for a “National Register of Historic Places.
